1.) Describe your significant other's most attractive quality (on the inside).
This is a totally easy one for me.
I love my husband, like most married women, I guess.
But also I appreciate him A LOT!!
My husband is the first person I ever followed my heart and not my head for. EVER. No other person in the whole world could have convinced me that it was a good idea to not go to work, but instead hop on a plane, with my 8 year old, headed to Las Vegas, to get married...on Leap Day!!
He has this uncanny ability to make me feel safe and loved and whole... and that everything will be ok.
The very best thing about my husband is his ability to help me know that things will be ok.
When I was in labor with my kids, if he had his hands on my back or shoulders or whatever...I was ok. He was amazing.
The first pregnancy (with him, that is) I was scared. I did everything on my own the first time.. I had to share this time... everything... and that was hard for me... but mostly I was scared that I was going to tell him to F*** off or get away from me... or whatever... I have friends that told me they thought they'd want their men around, but just couldn't stand them while in the throws of labor... and for me I didn't want him anywhere else.
I can't imagine doing it with anyone else... he was everything I needed him to be. He was with me through every tone, push, walk, cry... all of it... and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way.
When I was headed to the ER, with the hernia badness, he was the one who was able to get me to breath, and look him in the eye and feel like i could get through it.
At the end of a long day of diapers, and tantrums, and snotty attitudes and dishes, he is the one who melts my heart with a single kiss, and when we fall asleep in each other's arms, there is no where else on earth that I long to be.
My husband's best quality is his ability to melt my frosty stares of frustration (whether at him or the little ones), his ability to make me feel like no matter what we will be ok, his ability to make me feel safe, the way he completes me.
He is my soul mate, the love we feel intertwines our souls in a beautiful dance that I hope will last forever.
So I guess that my husband's best inner quality is the way that he loves me.
completely.
with out rules or regulations, or exception.
wow, I am a lucky woman!
Today I am thankful that I found and married the love of my life.

My favorite thing about my hubby was his love for me too. And I agree, I didn't want him any where except with me while I was in labor. Visiting via MamaKat but I WILL return.
Saw you on mama kat. I'm happy for you. One is always lucky to find their love. You are a great writer. "He is my soul mate, the love we feel intertwines our souls in a beautiful dance that I hope will last forever." this is beautiful. btw, your blogs name reminded me of a quote, I don't remember who wrote it "today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday"
What a lovely read! You are truly blessed.
Fun post! He sounds like a real sweetie. BTW most women may love their husbands (not convinced just yet)but mutual adoration is a rare treasure. Congrats on finding it.
OMG! You are very lucky! My experience has taught me that men like that are a rare find, indeed...luckily, I have one too! Hang on to him...he's a keeper!!!
What a Beautiful post :)
You two are blessed to have each other and this was a beautiful post. I'll be sure to stop by again in the future.

That was just beautiful! It makes me happy to see love like that.
I'm here from the Mr. Linky at the Writer's Workshop. What a great post. I love it. You did a great job of describing how he makes you feel and it is WONDERFUL!
I love the comment about your souls being intertwined into a dance! You really love him and he obviously loves you too! Great job!
I suddenly have 'just the way you are' by Billy Joel in my head. So sweet!
You did an excellent job. With my DH I too, for the first time followed my heart, not my head.
Very lucky indeed! The love shows through.
Thanks for sharing... sometimes it's so easy to take a spouse for granted, because they are such a constant. Yet, shouldn't we give them the most of ourselves? Thanks for the post, and the reminder to appreciate the love of our partners!
